BendixKing has signed an agreement allowing for installation of the company’s AeroVue Touch flight display and AeroCruze autopilot in Aloong Aircraft's Model 44 Angel. Installation of the flight display and autopilot is intended for Angel aircraft in Asia and Africa. The AeroVue features a Honeywell synthetic vision system and functions as both a primary flight and multifunction display, while the AeroCruze is an all-digital autopilot with a glove-friendly color LCD screen.
“AeroVue Touch, our latest flight display, and AeroCruze, our newest autopilot, are designed to deliver innovative, cost-effective technologies to lower operational cost and improve ease of use to help make flying easier and more enjoyable for Aloong Aircraft customers,” said BendixKing president Gregg Cohen.
The AeroVue is designed to replace six- and eight-pack mechanical instrument panels and is a cost-effective solution that helps to reduce pilot workload. And the AeroCruze provides advanced flight control, ease of use. “With the AeroVue Touch and AeroCruze, we are supplying our customers with the latest in cockpit technology to keep them flying safely and efficiently,” said Aloong Aircraft chairman Liang Ding Rui. “This is especially true with the integration of engine displays onto the AeroVue Touch screen. We can give pilots the situational awareness they need in one display to make important decisions in flight.”
