Duncan Aviation has opened an aircraft sales office in Phoenix, continuing recent expansion that also saw the company add similar facilities in Chicago and London over the past two years. The Phoenix location will be staffed by Doug Kvassay, a longtime aircraft sales and acquisitions representative with Duncan Aviation.
“By having multiple aircraft sales offices around the world, Duncan Aviation’s aircraft sales and acquisitions team can more quickly and more personally respond to client requirements and acqusition opportunities, which in many cases is critical to the success of a transaction,” said Steve Gade, vice president of aircraft sales and marketing communications at Duncan Aviation.
Kvassay has been with Duncan Aviation for 30 years and comes from an aviation-oriented family (his father, Sandor “Alex” Kvassay, sold business aircraft at Learjet and Beechcraft, and his brother, Tony, currently is the director of operations at Clay Lacy Aviation). He joined Duncan Aviation in 1988, after working overseas for a Bombardier and Bell Helicopter distributor.
Duncan Aviation was founded in 1956 as a business aircraft sales organization, but has since evolved into an aircraft service provider that also offers maintenance, paint, and completions work, as well as aircraft handling/FBO services.
