Business aviation group purchasing firm Aviaâ has added hullo Aircrew, which links business aircraft operators with freelance aircrew, to its supplier base, the London Oxford Airport-based companies announced today. Under the agreement, Aviaâ members have around-the-clock access to a dedicated hullo Aircrew client manager to assist with crewing issues.
Aviaâ and hullo Aircrew management will also collaborate on future platforms hullo Heli and hullo Engineer, which will pair operators with helicopter pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians, respectively. According to the companies, these programs are expected to be available early next year.
Hullo Aircrew holds information on more than 1,000 active crewmembers on its web- and app-based platform, including their rates, where they are based, and their experience, licenses, and training documents. Aviaâ members in Europe and the U.S. then pay only when a pilot or flight attendant is booked.
One-year-old Aviaâ streamlines the procurement process for aircraft owners and operators, maximizing collective buying power for “key operational spends” such as insurance, training, connectivity, fuel, maintenance, parts, aircraft handling, and FBOs, among others.
