TAG Aviation will soon complete its fourth C-check inspection on a Dassault Falcon 7X. The trijet is operated by Portugeuse charter firm Vinair Aeroservicos. C-checks are conducted every eight years or 4,000 cycles, whichever comes first, and involve careful coordination between TAG Aviation’s maintenance, engineering, customer support, spare parts and cabin refurbishments departments.
Philippe Rabier, v-p of maintenance sales for TAG Aviation Europe, explained that the company, which has maintenance facilities in Geneva and at the London-area Farnborough Airport, combines scheduled checks with other services so customers can complete multiple maintenance projects at once. The first C-check TAG Aviation conducted was part of a major cabin and cockpit refurbishment and was completed last summer.
“Vinair has received the most excellent service from TAG Aviation during the C-check on our Falcon 7X,” said Vinair Aeroserviços CEO Filipe Avillez. “We have always been very satisfied with the high level of service we receive from TAG Aviation. The professionalism and expertise with which TAG Aviation has managed this most complex maintenance check has exceeded our expectations."
