Jet Aviation's maintenance facility in Geneva, Switzerland, completed its first Honeywell DU-875 Elite cockpit display upgrade on a Bombardier Global Express XRS. The new software, which supports future situation awareness enhancements and advanced graphics, was installed along with a new cockpit printer. Jet Aviation conducted the upgrade at the same time as a required 120-month check, marking the facility’s second such inspection on a Global.

Besides the flight deck installation, the aircraft exterior received paint touch-ups, polishing and a Teflon coating application. Cabinetry pieces were also repaired and restored. Overall, the project took 6,000 man-hours and was delivered ahead of schedule after a check flight.

“Our primary goal is to meet our customers’ service needs to the highest standards," said Cyril Martiniere, managing director of Jet Aviation's Geneva maintenance facility. "To ensure the quality of our services, we constantly invest in our personnel, equipment and relationships with the OEMs and other suppliers. We also draw on our global network to maximize synergies through shared knowledge, skills, resources and capabilities.”

Just last month, Jet Aviation Geneva completed its first 192-month heavy check on a Gulfstream V. The facility offers full heavy maintenance services for Globals, Boeing BBJs and Gulfstreams.
