Scheme Designers is holding free workshops on aircraft paint/vinyl designs, as well as its third annual scavenger hunt, this week at Sun 'n’ Fun 2016, which opens tomorrow at Lakeland (Fla.) Linder International Airport.
The workshop, “Designing the Perfect Paint Scheme/Vinyl Design for Your Aircraft,” will be held by company owner and chief designer Craig Barnett on Wednesday in Forum Room 7 at 9 a.m. and on Friday in Forum Room 8 at 9 a.m. Barnett will share guidelines and best design practices for owners and companies to use when designing aircraft livery. The interactive workshop will also include hundreds of photos and design renderings created by Scheme Designers.
Meanwhile, the scavenger hunt will take participants across the airshow display grounds in search of aircraft sporting a Scheme Designers paint scheme and special logo sticker. Entry forms can be picked up at Scheme Designers’ Sun 'n’ Fun Booth (A-017) and must be returned to the booth no later than 4 p.m. on Saturday. Whoever turns in an entry form with the highest number of eligible aircraft before the deadline will win a custom desktop aircraft model from Factory Direct Models.
