Honeywell Aerospace signed an agreement for Al-Raha Group for Technical Services (RGTS) to distribute aftermarket mechanical and avionics products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the terms of the agreement, Saudi Arabia-based RGTS will distribute spare parts for commercial rotary-wing, as well as military fixed- and rotary-wing, platforms.
The arrangement means customers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will no longer have to wait for ordered parts to be shipped from the U.S., and the shortened lead time will reduce the amount of time aircraft and helicopters have to spend on the ground. As a result, the agreement will help increase aircraft availability. Future plans with the company include supporting operators with local technical assistance and providing repair and overhaul services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.
