Lavish accommodations, convenient 24/7/365 quick-turn capability and close proximity to downtown are hallmarks of the significantly upgraded Voyager Jet Center facility that recently opened at Allegheny County Airport near Pittsburgh, Pa. The new FBO offers an 8,500-sq-ft passenger terminal, as well as a large pilot lounge and crew rest facilities, conference room and flight-planning center.

Passengers and crew alike can also take advantage of curbside and planeside valet service and on-ramp Wi-Fi availability, with the facility's heated 18,000-sq-ft hangar, offering enough space to house a Gulfstream G650.

Located at the west end of the airfield—"the most convenient location on the field” for arriving traffic, according to Voyager Jet—the revamped Avfuel-branded FBO also features around-the-clock charter service and enhanced security measures.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility took place July 22, and Voyager Jet will host a formal grand opening on August 6, with a cocktail reception held alongside business aircraft on display from Cessna, Bombardier Learjet, and Gulfstream. Allegheny County Airport is the primary general aviation reliever field for Pittsburgh International Airport and is located eight miles from downtown.
