Airbus Industrie has added the Honeywell Pegasus FMS to the options list in the Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ). The acceptance also includes use of Pegasus equipment in the A319, A320 and A321 single-aisle airliners and follows a similar agreement reached last year for use of the Honeywell FMS in the A330 and A340. Honeywell said the Pegasus FMS will allow Airbus operators to take advantage of future CNS/ATM (communication, navigation, surveillance/air traffic management) operating capabilities in ICAO and U.S. airspace. Deliveries of the Pegasus FMS in the ACJ will start this month, said Honeywell. Retrofit systems should be available in the first quarter of the next year.
