Since reopening its FBO at Sydney International Airport, Australia, early last year, Hawker Pacific Flight Centre’s business has expanded significantly. The company credits its strong relationships with flight-planning organizations Jeppesen, Air Routing and Base Ops for fueling its growth. Hawker Pacific completed a half-million-dollar refurbishment of the passenger terminal in April that includes:
• a lounge area with complimentary drinks;
• business center with a Wi-Fi network for mobile Internet connection;
• security measures, including a secure auto parking lot, controlled access to the building and closed-circuit television;
• dedicated crew room with complimentary drinks;
• sleeper seats;
• PC with flight-planning and Internet access, printer, scanner and fax;
• cable television, DVD and VCR;
• and showers.
