Rockwell Collins and China Eastern Airlines extended their joint venture, Collins Aviation Maintenance Services Shanghai Limited (CAMSSL), during a ceremonial signing at the Airshow China 2012 in Zhuhai, today. “CAMSSL is committed to be the leading maintenance service provider for Rockwell Collins products in the Chinese aviation market,” said Feng Liang, chief engineer for China Eastern Airlines said.
The two companies provide aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and have worked together for 10 years. The agreement extends the partnership for another decade. CAMSSL, established in 2003, is located in the Pudong Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and provides service and support for communication, navigation, sensor, display, flight control computer, weather radar and in-flight entertainment systems.
