Veteran Boeing B-52 Bomber Joins the Fight Against ISIS

Boeing B-52H Stratofortress bombers landed at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on April 9th to replace the B-1B Lancer bomber in support of Operation Inherent Resolve against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.This is the first basing in the US Central Command area of responsibility in a quarter of a century. CENTCOM’s area covers 20 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
