Flexjet Expands Private Terminal Concept

Continuing the trend of major fractional aircraft ownership companies establishing their own FBOs at popular destinations, Cleveland-based Flexjet, the second largest provider in the U.S. recently announced it will open its fourth such facility, at Dallas Love Field. To see what they have to offer, we recently visited the Flexjet terminal at New York City-area business aviation hub, Westchester County Airport. Though the airport is already rich in FBO options, Flexjet acquired a former flight department hangar and spent more than five million dollars in converting it into a state of the art four-thousand square foot private terminal, and adjoining thirty-thousand square foot hangar which can accommodate the largest aircraft in the company’s fleet.
