Delta and American Airlines on Tuesday said they would cut international seating capacity by as much as 25 percent and 10 percent, respectively, as both airlines address reduced passenger demand related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The cuts rival those announced less than a week earlier by United Airlines, which said it would slash international capacity by 20 percent.

While it continues to monitor developments related to COVID-19, NBAA reaffirmed that its 2020 International Operators Conference (IOC2020) is on for next week in Charlotte, North Carolina. The association has been in frequent contact with medical experts, and additional safety and sanitation measures will be in place, Doug Carr, v-p of regulatory and international affairs, told members.
