As social distancing takes root globally, the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has developed a remote approach to workshop and auditing requirements for International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) registration. These include online webinars for requisite workshops that typically have been performed around the world. These workshops will be held virtually beginning in April.
“We are currently testing this new format for the workshops as an alternative to on-site events due to the recent virus constraints,” said Katherine Hilst, IS-BAO operations manager. “As much as we prefer to work with these operators and auditors to present the workshop in person, this will be a convenient and safe way to continue supporting this curriculum. We will be adding to the webinar schedule and interested attendees can register from our website.”
Further, a remote auditing option will be offered temporarily. These audits are immediately available, enabling qualified organizations to undergo the reviews necessary for registration.
