Over the last two years, Duncan Aviation has completed 1C inspections on 16 Dassault Falcon 7Xs, it announced this week. The company, which has performed the inspections for domestic and international customers at its Michigan and Nebraska locations, also provides inspections in advance of the 1C and has 22 years of experience as an authorized Dassault service facility.

The interior of the Falcon 7X is removed during the major 1C inspection and Duncan has performed various levels of removal ranging from only the carpet to complete refurbishment of an interior. After a 7X has had eight years in service, it is typical to also undergo complete paint during the 1C process. According to Duncan, customers have demonstrated interest in installation of new cabin electronics, including Gogo’s Avance L5 and Ka-band satcom systems, during the major inspection.

Customers selecting Duncan are “looking for an MRO facility that can provide a competitive downtime with the tooling and experience to skillfully work through any discrepancies and concerns that may arise,” said Duncan airframe and engine service sales manager Alan Monk.
