OJets, a business aviation services that launched last month, expects to meet its goal to have at least eight business aircraft in its fleet by June 30. The OJets fleet now includes two Bombardier Global 6000s and a Challenger 650. Delivery of two more aircraft is expected early next month.
“We are very pleased with our growth in the short period since we launched OJets,” said CEO Nick Houseman. “We are well financed and continue to aggressively add aircraft to our fleet. We are very selective—only seeking the best long-range and large-cabin business jets on the market, while also favoring aircraft no more than two years old.”
Meanwhile, it said, the company’s acquisition of Ljubljana-based Elit’Avia is also progressing according to plan. The acquisition, announced April 13, is not only accelerating OJets’ growth but also providing an anchor in the European aircraft management, charter, and aviation services market.
“The integration of the Elit’Avia team is working smoothly,” Houseman noted. “Together, we are better able to serve clients with more services in more markets. And, together, we are a stronger team. The global reach represented by our presence in Asia, Europe, and North America is a great asset.”
