TAG Aviation Expands Geneva Cabin Capabilities

Swiss company TAG Aviation (Booth C8917) has added new capabilities for aircraft refurbishment at its Geneva Airport maintenance services center. This includes the introduction of ready-to-go cabin wood revarnishing finishes, ranging from matte to ultra-gloss, “for all types of wood within the cabin.”

The company—which provides maintenance services at six locations: Geneva, Sion, Farnborough, Paris, Lisbon and Lomé—said this new offering “dramatically reduces the turnaround for any cabin wood interior project,” and followed “research by TAG Aviation’s Part 21 DOA [Design Organization Approval] department.”

The company now also offers “partial exterior paint refurbishments” for Dassault Falcons, provided in conjunction with scheduled C-checks. This is designed to minimize aircraft downtime “compared to the project time for a full aircraft exterior repaint.” TAG describes this as “a far more competitive choice for aircraft owners.”

A third new capability from TAG Maintenance Services comes in the form of a 3D cabin configuration tool for cabin refurbishment projects, “providing customers with the most extensive range of aircraft refurbishment interiors.” This capability was developed in conjunction with a Swiss-based architectural studio, said TAG Aviation. “The fully-rendered 3D configurator can create the most popular cabin layouts with realistic representations of the selected materials and ambient lighting scenarios,” the company added.

Philippe Rabier, vice president of maintenance sales for TAG Aviation Europe, said the extended capabilities were “further testament to our ongoing commitment to the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.”
