Jet Aviation's completions facility in Basel, Switzerland, recently received EN9100 quality management certification. The latest version of the approval incorporates several standards developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group. EN9100 certification is based on ISO 9001.

Companies with this certification have met the standards of manufacturers and customers in design, development, production, installation and servicing. Aircraft and equipment manufacturers require suppliers and subcontractors to follow the standards of this certification.

“The EN9100 certification is a testament to our dedication to continuous improvement in quality across all areas of completions in Basel,” said Neil Boyle, the senior v-p and general manager of completions for Jet Aviation Basel. “It is a demanding certification process, giving our customers additional confidence that we meet certification requirements as a partner for major OEMs, and reinforcing our dedication to exceptional Jet Aviation quality at every level of the completions process.”

Capable of outfitting jets as large as the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8 series, the Jet Aviation Basel facility features design and engineering departments, as well as on-site cabinetry, sheet metal, composite and paint shops. It also is a service center for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream.
