Maintenance, repair and overhaul group StandardAero recently completed a full Elite II avionics retrofit on a Dassault Falcon 900EX at its Springfield, Illinois facility. The retrofit, which was delivered to a Seattle-based operator three days early, included Elite II upgrade packages with WAAS GMS, DU-875 LCD cockpit displays, CDU-830s, FMS-6.2 software, FANS 1/A+, CPDLC and ADS-B.

As part of the Dassault's Elite II package for the Falcon 900EX, the Honeywell Primus 2000 flight deck received an upgrade, along with other enhancements to address future mandates. This is not StandardAero's first Elite upgade on a Falcon. The service provider has performed a number of such upgrades to date and has several aircraft under contract in 2017. The work can also be completed at the company’s facilities in Augusta, Georgia; and Houston, Texas.

“All of these upgrades ensure this aircraft is in compliance with upcoming mandates,” said president of StandardAero business aviation Marc McGowan. “In addition, these enhancements will have very positive effects on the aircraft’s value.”
