The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) is staging its new Air Ops Europe conference and trade show this Wednesday and Thursday. The event, which will be held in Hangar 16 of Cannes Airport in the south of France and is planned to be an annual show, is focused on all aspects of ground support for business aircraft and is being supported by a good selection of FBOs, as well as fuel and other service providers.

Starting with preliminary sessions today and tomorrow, the Air Ops Europe program will include opportunities for companies to complete training and auditing for the new International Standards-Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) developed by the International Business Aviation Council. The conference will include sessions on regulatory issues facing European business aviation, as well as an overview of market conditions. Speakers will include EBAA’s new chairman Jürgen Wiese, who is with the flight department of German automaker BMW.

AIN will be providing coverage of news from Air Ops Europe.
