JetSet Interiors is opening at Van Nuys (Calif.) Airport—its fourth location in the U.S.—thanks to a partnership with Western Jet Aviation announced this week. The jet interiors company will be moving into Western Jet’s aircraft maintenance facility in Van Nuys and will add aircraft interior refurbishment capabilities at the shop.
Western Jet, which specializes in Gulfstreams, currently offers a range of services for business aircraft, including airframe and engine maintenance packages, troubleshooting and repair, modifications, paint and dealership authorized avionics services, as well as a dedicated R&R team. JetSet will add modification and finishing of cabinetry and woodwork, soft-goods refurbishment, custom seating modifications and upholstery capabilities.
To recognize the partnership, JetSet will also offer a new line of custom “signature series” seating designed specifically for Gulfstreams. Other “signature series” seating lines for other business jets, including Bombardier Challengers and Globals, will also be available, it said.
Founded in 2009, JetSet also has aircraft interior shops in Dallas; Farmers Branch, Texas; and Hartford, Conn.
