Bombardier and Flexjet celebrated the confirmation of an order for 20 Challenger 350s today at EBACE 2016. The airframer announced the $534 million order on April 1, but without naming the customer. The announcement brings the total number of Flexjet-ordered Challenger 350s to 60, with deliveries of the previous orders having begun in January last year.
Bombardier Business Aircraft president David Coleal said, “We congratulate Flexjet on the continued growth and expansion of its fleet, and we appreciate the enthusiastic reception that Flexjet and its owners have given our Challenger 350.” Michael Silvestro, Flexjet CEO, added, “The Challenger 350 and its predecessor, the Challenger 300, proved to be our best seller last year.”
