Brazilian aviation authority ANAC has approved LoPresti Aviation's BoomBeam HID lighting systems for more than 80 aircraft models. "ANAC approval is very important to our business. We have seen a real growth in our overseas sales of our BoomBeam HID lights. We received EASA approval for these models in 2015, and now that we have ANAC, I see strong sales for the LoPresti BoomBeam HID," said David LoPresti, v-p of LoPresti Aviation.
The LoPresti BoomBeam HID lighting systems are for landing, taxi and recognition lighting on aircraft and have been approved for use on more than 450 aircraft.
"The BoomBeam HID lights are a great safety improvement. They are especially important on dark airports. Our South American customers have asked us to obtain ANAC approval so they could order our BoomBeam HID light systems for their FAA Part 25 aircraft," said Curt LoPresti, company president.
