Constant Aviation has been awarded a Wi-Fi installation project by Georgia Jet. The MRO will be installing the Gogo Biz 2000 system on eight aircraft (six Beechjet 400A/XPs and two Hawker 800XPs). The project is slated to commence in January.
“Connectivity while traveling has become a necessity, no longer just an amenity. Constant Aviation is excited to be chosen by Georgia Jet to add this system to their fleet,” said Jay Rizzo, vice president Sales.
According to Rizzo, Constant Aviation was able to guarantee Georgia Jet was minimal downtime for each installation, and that was a driving force behind the operator's decision to award the contract to Constant Aviation. The company holdds more than 10 Wi-Fi STCs.
The MRO has locations at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Birmingham International Airport and Las Vegas International Airport. All facilities specialize in airframe maintenance, engine repair maintenance, major repairs, avionics, interior refurbishment, parts distribution, accessory and composite services.
