Garmin announced a new weather radar eLearning subscription course that introduces pilots to both basic and intermediate weather radar operations, taking them beyond the traditional pilot’s guide. It is designed to ensure pilots understand how to use all of the tools on-board weather radar offers.
The course covers radar interpretation and analytical techniques that aid decision-making, as well increasing pilot situational awareness by combining airborne radar and Nexrad; operational radar techniques with an emphasis on tilt and range management; radar display interpretation; and automation management and competency.
The Garmin weather radar eLearning course is available as a 180-day subscription for $149.
