Advantage Aviation Technologies (AAT) has been approved for AS9100 certification of its quality management system for manufacturing at its aircraft-aerospace repair and parts manufacturing facility in Dallas. The certification, approved by SAI Global of Toronto, Calif., encompasses the manufacture of sheet metal fabrication and machined parts for the aerospace industry. AAT pursued the certification to meet the requirements of commercial, business and freight aviation operators, as well as OEMs.
Founded in 1993, the FAA-certified repair station specializes in OEM manufacturing solutions such as repair development, precision welding, landing gear hydraulic overhaul, AOG services, composite repair, heat treat and NDT services.
