Honeywell (Booth No. 7041) has introduced here the new Ovation Select 200C personal control unit, a 4.3-inch, thin-film transistor color touch-screen control device. Designed as a replacement for the Ovation C-Series MHL4 personal control unit, the Select 200C offers high-resolution, full-color, icon-based controls and provides “intuitive graphical user interface with ‘slide-and-select’ control features for any device or system with no more than a three-menu pull-down.”
The new unit allows passengers and crew the ability to control the function of each cabin management system component, including DVD player, moving-map system, lighting, water system, shades and temperature. The LCD aspect provides optics with “excellent brightness, contrast and viewing angles.” The Select 200C has applicability across a broad range of aircraft, including models from Bombardier, Dassault Falcon, Embraer and Gulfstream.
