Preliminary Report: GV lands with nosewheel up

Gulfstream V, Zurich, Switzerland, June 1, 2007 – The Swiss-registered GV landed nosewheel-up at Zurich/Kloten Airport, causing minor damage to the airplane but no injuries to the four crewmembers and five passengers. During the approach, the crew reported that the nosewheel was stuck in the up position. They went around to troubleshoot. The nosewheel failed to extend, and the crew declared an emergency and performed a nosewheel-up landing. The business flight had originated at Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Swiss authorities are investigating.
