Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic (ES-A) and the Solenta Aviation group of companies, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, have signed a three-year engine services agreement. ES-A will provide comprehensive fixed-wing aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services to the Solenta Aviation Group’s turboprop engine fleet from its facilities in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Nairobi, Kenya. The agreement includes engine repair, hot section inspections, testing, modifications, overhaul services and parts distribution (PT6A only) on the PT6A and PW100 series.
“Both ES-A and the Solenta Aviation Group have enjoyed significant and successful growth in the African continent over the last 10 years, and we have complemented each other well in the process. We look forward to further enhancing our relationship with the Solenta Aviation Group over the next three years,” said Jeff Poirier, president of ES-A.
Vector Aerospace holds approvals from General Electric, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Rolls-Royce and Turbomeca (all engine lines, including complete test capability).
Vector Aerospace also supports Airbus Helicopters, AgustaWestland, Boeing and Sikorsky and offers full-service avionics capability, including complete aircraft rewire and glass-cockpit engineering, development and integration.
