Industry veteran Jenny Showalter has launched a new firm to provide career coaching and advisory services for students and professionals seeking to enter or expand their presence in the business aviation field. Showalter Business Aviation Career Coaching launches at a time when workforce issues have become once again at the forefront of industry concerns.
“Our industry is experiencing unprecedented growth right now and changing rapidly,” said Showalter, who is the chief motivational officer for the new firm. “It can be difficult to face a job transition alone, especially if you haven’t done it in a long time. I am excited to provide a trustworthy resource to the business aviation community for those that are transitioning or just contemplating a move to the next phase of their career.”
She has a long history in the industry as a third-generation member of the Showalter aviation family, having grown up alongside Showalter Flying Service, which provided FBO services and aircraft sales and served as the NBAA static display host for nearly two decades in Orlando, Florida.
Most recently a client services manager for a business aviation recruitment firm, Showalter has been deeply involved in the business aviation industry, including chairing NBAA’s Schedulers and Dispatchers Committee and helping to launch the Central Florida Business Aviation Association.
