Airbus plans to consolidate all of its Dubai-based customer services team for commercial aircraft under one roof starting January 1, the company announced Sunday at the Dubai Air Show. The exercise merges customer support, supplier support, engineering, quality, aircraft structure embodiment and repair, services sales and marketing, business development, flight training, and flight operations.
Under the plans, the regional organization will expand to employ 105 personnel from 85. Airbus (Pavilion P10; Stand 940) supports 1,000 aircraft with 36 operators in Africa and the Middle East.
