For the second year in a row, Flying Colours’ St. Louis MRO and completions facility has received Bombardier Business Aircraft’s authorized service facility Excellence Award for North America. According to the airframer, the award recognizes the facility’s “commitment to serving Bombardier’s customers with superior quality and performance, as well as supporting the OEM’s strategy of delivering exceptional customer experience.”
Troy Funk, the facility’s vice president of technical services, accepted the award at NBAA 2016 on behalf of the company. “A back-to-back win like this is extremely important to us and reflects the dedication, commitment and passion, as well as genuine hard work the team puts in to make sure that the customer experience is the best it can be,” he said. “The win last year was a huge honor, but we’ve not let it go to our heads and have continued to improve and develop our customer services and facility. This makes it all worth it.”
Flying Colours was named as a Bombardier authorized service facility four years ago, and its agreement includes the Learjet 40/40XR, 45/45XR, Challenger 300/350, 604/605 and 850.
