OmnAvia Interiors and Spectra Interior Products To Market New Interiors Finish

MSI Coatings’ Blusky Armor 1027 clear coat, created for interior cabinets and trim, brings a new chemistry to aerospace cabinetry finishing, according to the Boulder, Colo.-based manufacturer. The photo-polymer formulation cures tack-free within 120 seconds under exposure to UV light to form a thermoset coating. The crosslinked coating is harder, and more abrasion resistant, and it exhibits superior weathering than thermoplastic polyurethane and polyester finishes, MSI said. Blusky Armor 1027 will be marketed for aerospace applications exclusively by OmnAvia Interiors and Spectra Interior Products of Winston-Salem, N.C.
