EBAA has honored four European companies with Safety of Flight Awards during the EBACE Safety Workshop on Monday. Brian Humphries, EBAA president, said, “Several years ago, we decided to include at EBACE recognition of companies that have made safety a continuing mission, and have achieved magnificent accident-free records over many years to show for it.”
This year’s awards and winners include:
Diamond Award, for 50 years or 100,000 hours’ flying without an accident: VistaJet, Malta.
Platinum Award, also for 50 years or 100,000 hours’ flying without an accident: PrivatAir, Geneva, Switzerland.
Gold Award, for 40 years or 80,000 hours’ flying without an accident: Jet Aviation Business Jets, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Silver Award, for 30 years or 60,000 hours’ flying without an accident: GlobeAir, Linz Austria.
