JSSI Announces New Partnerships, New Program

Hourly cost maintenance provider Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) and business aircraft financier Global Jet Capital, have announced a new partnership here at EBACE. Under the agreement, any pre-owned aircraft offered by Global Jet Capital Aircraft Sales that are not already covered by a maintenance program, will include JSSI’s Tip-to-Tail unscheduled maintenance program.

“In the current market, those looking for a pre-owned large business aircraft have a wide range of options open to them and can therefore demand the best possible package,” said industry veteran Dave Labrozzi, Global Jet Capital’s COO. “By partnering with JSSI, we can provide buyers with complete peace of mind and financial certainty as well as comprehensive global support, a combination which we know will be compelling to those looking for a pre-owned aircraft.”

As part of the special JSSI program, Global Jet Capital’s aircraft buyers will also receive rental engines and components during any unscheduled maintenance events (for six months or 400 flight hours, which ever comes first) to help minimize any possible aircraft down time.

JSSI (Booth G051), which provides hourly cost maintenance programs for more than 350 different aircraft types, also announced a deal with Dallas-based bizliner repair specialist Associated Air Center. “This new relationship with Associated Air Center enhances our ability to introduce and expand existing maintenance programs for the customized or VIP airliner market,” said JSSI president and CEO Neil Book, adding that segment has traditionally had very limited maintenance program choices available. “We are working very hard to deliver more options to BBJ and ACJ operators around the world.”

The Chicago-based company has launched a new airframe parts-only package for the MD Helicopters MD500 and 600, which when combined with its Rolls-Royce engine coverage will create a complete maintenance package for operators of those rotorcraft.

“MD Helicopters operators now have a solution that will stabilize their maintenance budgets, deliver lower maintenance costs, and enhance the residual value when it comes time to sell,” stated Kevin Thomas, JSSI’s senior v-p of business development and strategy, adding the company has a similar program for the MD 900 nearing completion. Any of JSSI’s existing engine maintenance programs can be bundled with an airframe parts-only program for a tip-to-tail package, with additional options available to tailor programs to fit individual operator needs.

Lastly, the company noted that it has enrolled its first mainland-based Gulfstream G650ER to its engine and APU maintenance program. The Rolls-Royce BR725 A1-12-powered twinjet is managed by Brilliant Jet and financed by Minsheng Financial Leasing.
