Jet Aviation Basel recently outfitted and delivered a head-of-state Airbus ACJ320 cabin interior for an undisclosed client in Europe. The configuration, which was certified under EASA STC for private use, includes a bedroom, bathroom, lounge, office area and a large executive staff area and is designed to accommodate 57 passengers and five crewmembers.
“I am delighted with how this beautifully finished VIP cabin interior came to life,” said Marius Tokarski, project manager. “The interior was fully designed, engineered, produced and completed by our specialized team of engineers and craftsmen here in Basel, and the aircraft was delivered significantly ahead of schedule.”
Jet Aviation Basel performs completions for both single-aisle and widebody Boeing BBJs and Airbus ACJs. In addition to this ACJ320, the company also delivered a Boeing BBJ1 and an Airbus A340-600 this year. All three interior completions were done at the Basel facility, which has in-house design and engineering departments, along with on-site cabinetry, upholstery, sheet metal, composite and paint shops.
