The FAA has granted AGDisplays Part 145 repair station status. The certification allows the company to use exclusive LCD repair solutions for in-flight panels instead of replacing expensive and minimally damaged LCD units. “Providing customers with repair resources drastically extends the life of in-flight panels that would need to be replaced regardless of the extent of damage to them," said Lidia Hidalgo, president of AGDisplays. "The FAA certification allows us to serve our customers better by saving them thousands of dollars. They now have an option to repair the units.”
The AGDisplays repair station operates out of an 84,000-sq-ft facility in Greensburg, Pa., and employs Part 65 certified repairmen trained to inspect, repair and approve airworthy LCD panels within its repair station’s rating. AGDisplays offers NVIS, optical bond, turnkey and display solutions. It also offers LCD film and lamination enhancements, touchscreen integration, LED backlighting, ruggedization and repair services and support.
