Blackhawk Composites, a Morgantown, Ky.-headquartered composite component manufacturing company, brought news of a new autoclave production process to Heli-Expo 2015.
“The autoclave capability was a logical progression for the development of our company,” said Matt Shieman, chairman of Blackhawk Composites. “We can now serve the industry with a full range of part production components, from interior cabinetry to advanced structural composite parts.”
The company produces engine cowlings and inlet ducts for the Blackhawk Modifications XP42A engine upgrade, as well as components for external pods and wing modifications. The company holds FAA-PMA authority.
