FAA and EASA-certified repair station First Wave Aerospace added component repair management to its service offerings. First Wave already supports a major manufacturing customer, a Middle Eastern airline, and an FAA/EASA repair station that delegates the procurement and repair of parts and components to First Wave.

Tony McAnly, president of Tulsa, Okla.-based First Wave, said, “This involvement in supply chain management is beneficial to our customers, especially emerging operators and maintenance providers. By teaming with First Wave to manage their parts procurement and repair sourcing, they help assure aircraft spend more time in the sky and less time on the ground.”

First Wave Aerospace has approximately 250,000 line items and 6.8 million parts and operates 24 hours a day out of its 82,000-sq-ft facility. The company launched MRO Repair Management in 2014 and already serves a major manufacturing customer that delegates the sourcing and repair of parts and components to First Wave.
