Ascent Aviation Services opened a new 42,000-sq-ft hangar at its facility adjacent to the Tucson International Airport. The new hangar brings Ascent's total space to approximately 100,000 sq ft, capable of accommodating four narrowbody airliners. In addition, Ascent's footprint includes a 30-acre concrete ramp and 88,000 sq ft of shop and secured consignment space.
"The new hangar is instrumental to Ascent's growth strategy, which will enable the company to continue to provide additional quality and reliable MRO services to a wide range of private and commercial narrowbody aircraft," said Ascent chairman John McNamara.
