Aerochine Aviation and the Ningbo International Airport and Logistic Administration Committee have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the region’s first rotary-wing MRO facility at China’s Ningbo International Airport. The agreement will expand the company’s operations from helicopter sales to maintenance service. The MRO, slated to open by next year, will initially target providing after-sales maintenance services to Bell helicopters in China.
“This is a significant milestone in the establishment of the first world-class MRO facility for rotary aircraft in the Yangtze River Delta. We are proud to be partnering with the Ningbo International Airport and Logistics Administration Committee in sharing our experience and supporting rotary-wing aircraft, as well as helping develop China’s general aviation industry. We are confident that this MoU will result in a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership among the two companies as well as the industry,” said Diana Chou, managing director of Aerochine Aviation.
The company serves as Bell Helicopter’s independent representative for southeastern China, Hong Kong and Macau.
