Thales, CareFlight Team on AgustaWestland AW139 Sim Training

Thales is partnering with helicopter air ambulance operator CareFlight Group to launch Australia’s first civil helicopter training center for the AgustaWestland AW139. Starting in 2016, a Thales-built level-D flight simulator will be operating at CareFlight Group’s aeromedical training academy at Brisbane Airport. The simulator will feature Thales’ Reality H technology, electric motion and the possibility to use night-vision goggles to replicate scenarios such as major technical failures, severe weather and offshore flying.
